SHAC WOD

Our workout of the day! We start this workout with a strength or a skill session…we may do some squats, deadlifts, bench press, or some pull-ups and handstands. The workout may include barbell movements, kettlebells, dumbbells, running, rowing, jump rope, or bodyweight movements. You never know what Coach KK is going to come up with!!!

SHAC HIIT

The SHAC HIIT class is our 45 minute HIIT class where we incorporate dumbbells and kettlebells in addition to bodyweight movements and more cardio than our SHAC WOD. The SHAC HIIT class moves more quickly and lends toward the ability to go lower weight, higher reps.
There is often extra credit following SHAC HIIT focusing on a vanity group like abs or arms.

SHAC Rowing

Rowing specific workout integrating sprint rowing, distance rowing, stroke rate work and resistance work. Workout includes warm-up, rowing workout and cool down. 45 minutes.

SHAC Mobility

More than a workout, SHAC Mobility is an accessory workout that hits all those joints and connections in the body that we put stress on during workouts and everyday movement. The workout includes range of motion movements, stretching and accessory exercises. 45 minutes.

Our Saturday Team workout. This workout is designed to bring members together with others that they may not get a chance to workout with during the regular work week! These workouts include movement from the week prior and are easily modified for any level of fitness. We encourage our members to bring a friend so that everyone has at least one partner!

Fantastic gym, fantastic coach, fantastic people! I can't say enough about this place! Karen (coach) is all about proper warm ups, good form and preventing injuries which is a big plus for me. I'm a beginner and she walks me through movements and lifts so I know exactly what to do, and makes sure I'm doing it correctly. I actually look forward to my daily workouts now! I started coming to this gym a few weeks ago and am obsessed. The work outs are fun (even if I don’t think so until after), and the people are SO NICE. More than a gym, it’s a great way to get to know your neighbors and strengthen that sense of community. I pulled my hamstring a week back (Playing kickball of all things), and the OWNER of the gym offered to take time out of her busy day to bring me a foam roller to my house. If that’s not commitment and family, I’m not sure what is.

I found SHAC by Googling "boot camp style gyms in Tampa". I looked through different gyms and then saw Seminole Heights Athletic Center, just 4 minutes from my house (if I get stuck at every light). I initially called the number provided and left a voicemail to get some info on the gym.......... then decided same day I would just drive there and see it for myself. I was greeted by couch Karen who informed me of the free trial week. I couldn't wait to go to my first day! I was so impressed that Karen remembered my name after meeting just one time. The first work out had me hooked. Everyone is so insanely nice and encouraging, just when you think you can't finish a workout your coach and peers cheer you to the finish line. I am so honored to be a part of such an awesome gym family and feel so lucky to have made such genuine, new friends! Thank you SHAC!

If you are serious about your fitness and want passionate trainers to push you - The SHAC is the right place for you. HOLD POLICY

Membership hold requests are limited to one (1) per calendar year. The default payment method on file must be confirmed and active. There will be a monthly hold fee of $25 will be charged. Membership billing automatically resumes the month after the requested hold date unless the member contacts admin to release the freeze early. Use of the gym during the hold period will result in the membership being reactivated immediately; and member’s regular monthly membership charges will be assessed. Upon expiration of the hold period, your account will automatically reactivate and regular membership payments will resume. All membership payments are non-refundable.

If you choose to cancel your membership during the hold period, the standard 30-day written cancellation notice required stated in your membership agreement is applicable. You will owe one (1) more month of dues and owe an early termination fee if cancellation is prior to your commitment date.

If you choose to reactivate your membership after it is cancelled, membership rates in effect at the time of reactivation will be applicable (membership rates are subject to change).

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you would like to meet one-on-one with a coach to come up with other options because you know how important your health is, contact the gym now! If you are sure you would like to cancel, please complete and submit the form below. This will serve as your 30-day written cancellation notice as required by your membership agreement. Your membership will be cancelled 30 days from the date of submission of the form. **Note: If you have a scheduled payment within this period, the payment will be processed as scheduled. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Cancellation of memberships prior to the expiration of any specified commitment period requires an early termination fee as outlined in your membership agreement. You will receive an email from a SHAC representative with the details of this termination fee before it is processed.
